ReplyDeleteI am a baby blogger. I have allowed my heart to lead me to people here in Blog Land with these common threads... or personal preferences. Creative people, inspiring in word or works, and those who are on a quest, like myself, to live their lives with gusto, with glee, and with a genuine searching for their spiritual side.
ReplyDeleteOh, James, I felt every word you wrote and how meeting the people you have through Empty Easel, and now through your own fabulous post, have inspired you beyond who you were when you first started blogging.
I love the portraits you and Adebanji did of each other. But I especially love how you moved past your fear-comfort zone of painting a portrait to find such a gift inside you.
Bravo! PS I will watch "Enjoy the Ride" on your blog everyday and will add it as a new item on my 101 Things To Do List.
I enjoyed the article and want to win the prize.

Hi- It's me Tweedles. I was traveling around earlier tonight and stopped by your article.
ReplyDeleteThe words you said could have come out of my own mouth. Such true heartfelt words. Being new to all of this- and challenging myself to "try" has led me to places I never thought I would travel as an experience. I have taken a risk as you did, and let the words flow from my mouth.
You are a brave soul, and I want to be like you when I grow up. Thank you for leading the way and sharring as we walk along the sand together.
Please go check out the latest on Tweedles as you have been there all along
